My Services: Website Design, Logo Design, Business Card Design, Letterhead and Envelope Design
Challenge: GINCOM (Omaha, Nebraska), a networking and communications company, had been in business for 12 years but without a professionally-designed logo identity. The companys owners hired me to do the job right. As part of the design process, I developed a Competitive Logo Analysis of GINCOMs peers and competitors in the wireless, networking and telecommunications fields. This proved to be useful in identifying and avoiding several cliché logo trends. GINCOMs owners desired the logo to convey strength, trust, and reflect the technical nature of their work.
Solution: As part of their work in setting up point-to-point networks in rural and urban locations, GINCOMs technicians are frequently constructing or installing antennae on cellular transmission towers. GINCOMs logo design represents a tower with a cluster of data points underneath. The other two logo designs made it to the final round of selection.
Results: A happy client, proud of their new logo design and corporate identity. The bold logo made a great impression, especially on the companys business cards.
Robs designs are professional, effective, and well received. We particularly appreciate the way he instructed us in the design process and his commitment, creativity and passion. Rob interviewed each of us to learn the necessary knowledge about GINCOMs business to project the right information and image to existing and potential customers. Because he knew his field, we were all successful in our efforts to build an identity that gave us pride and confidence in our marketing. In addition, we now know how to evaluate others' corporate identity and which ones to appreciate as professionally developed and well-designed.
We were very pleased with the outcome of our projects with Rob and would use his professional services again.
